About Backcourt Sports Management

Developed by an established tennis club in Vancouver Canada, Backcourt Sports Management was created with the purpose of adding options that were not available in other products on the market.  

The product needed to be specifically built for tennis clubs, keeping their additional needs in mind.

After 2 years of development and 2 years of intensive beta testing, Backcourt Sports Management became ready for additional clubs.

Larry Jurovich – Founder & Co-Owner

Larry Jurovich has been in the tennis Industry for over 30 years. His knowledge and experience make him a leader in the field.  He is acknowledged as an international leader in player development, being one of a very small group of Canadian coaches who has developed players to play in every Grand slam and reach the top 100 of the world.

Larry served as the Head of Coach Education for the governing body of tennis for the U.K., designing their coaching system and curriculum, including training their National Coaches.

After returning to Canada, Larry designed and delivered the coach 3 program for Tennis Canada and trained many of their National coaches. He worked for Tennis Canada as a consultant to their Tennis Development Centre network of clubs across Canada.

Willy Grieve – Co-owner & Developer

Willy Grieve has been involved in website development for over 20 years.  His company, Cityline Websites Ltd, has built / helped market over 1,000 companies in the Vancouver Canada area. Cityline Websites has prior experience developing sports management software for golf groups, plus many other custom programming applications.
